12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women

Well my friends,

I've spend some time delving into the books, mainly textbooks.  I've mange to sneak some time for leisurely reading and one of the books I've had on my list for quite sometime is, the 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women by Gail McMeekin.

Wonderful and Empowering are just few of the words that describe this book.  I want to share some of my favorite quotes and "secrets" of the book.

Taking Courageous Risk

I heart this topic, because it's something I personally struggle with.  Either I under or overestimate myself, the issue at stake or both.  Many of us to this, so to learn about others who have manage to do it well is inspiring.
One of the sayings is "Calculate risk propel us forward in a positive manner".  Yes!!

Ever accomplish something that initially seem unsurmountable?  That's the feeling you get when you take a healthy risk that pays off.  Of course not all risk pay off, but if it taken in a calculate manner, you're left with a better feeling than you would have felt if it was simply a rash risk.

So ladies, I leave you with this:  Try new things, because many times you only have one chance.  Make sure you take risks in life, courageous risk that is.

More to come,

Marie
